I am thrilled to have the opportunity to present at the annual SENG Conference this year. The SENG 2021-2022 conference will be held virtually again, but promises to be in person next year! The theme of the conference is “Gifted and Growing OVer a Lifespan” which is a great opportunity for us all to think about the lifelong path of our gifted and 2e children.

My presentation will focus specifically on strategies that I leveraged when creating an innovative approach to schooling for my son. It highlights the unique needs of 2e learners, strategies for minimizing the impact of chronic anxiety on learning, and first-hand experiences of recognizing and navigating trauma triggers.
